Information Collection and Use

The TMFSL is the sole administrator of the information collected on this site. We will not sell, share, or rent this information to others in ways different from that which is disclosed in this statement without the consent of the user (except as required by law or in the case of imminent physical harm to the user or others). The TMFSL collects information from our users at several points on our website.

TMFSL Team Registration and Player Registration Forms

The TMFSL will collect a limited amount of information about you only for purposes related to contacting you for billing purposes, to anticipate and resolve problems with your participation in the league, to inform you of league activities (i.e. Tournaments, All Star Game, Playoff Information, End-of-Season Party, etc), or to provide participant demographic and residency details to the City of Toronto for the purposes of allocating and receiving permits to softball diamonds.

You may opt out of TMFSL email communications at any time through a link provided at the bottom of the message. These email communications are only sent during the course of the season. Team Captains and Assistant Captains are included in necessary league communications through the course of the season and, as a result, are not able to opt out of these communications unless they relinquish their duties. In addition, the TMFSL uses Team Captain and Assistant Captain email addresses for a single prospecting inquiry for the following season. Team Captains and Assistant Captains may opt out of future prospecting email communications at that time.

If you unsubscribe from league communications, the TMFSL is not liable for any disruption in league services that may result due to missed communication.

The TMFSL is not liable to users who intentionally provide incorrect email addresses. No credit card information is either collected or stored.

Log Files

We collect IP addresses as part of regular site management activity but, at this time, do not use it for any purpose including to analyze trends, administer the site, track user's movement, or gather broad demographic information for aggregate use. IP addresses are not linked to personally identifiable information - but may do so in the future

Users will have a choice as to whether or not we use their information in this different manner. We will use information in accordance with the Privacy Policy under which the information was collected.
